MTV Picks Pop Stars For Its Movie Award Winners

Those wacky MTV Movie Awards aren't set to air on the cable network until June 6, but the actual ceremony was held this weekend. And, proving that the 'M' in 'MTV' truly stands for music and not movies, pop stars came home winners.
Rapper-turned-actor Will Smith won the popcorn statuette for Best Male Performance in the Ali biopic. Teen songstress Mandy Moore also won the Best Breakthrough Performance Female award for her role in A Walk To Remember.
The first installment in Peter Jackson's adaptation of the J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord Of The Rings: Fellowship Of The Ring was voted by fans as the Best Movie. Other winners included:
Best Female Performance: Nicole Kidman, Moulin Rouge
Best On-Screen Team: Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, The Fast and the Furious
Best Comedic Performance: Reese Witherspoon, Legally Blonde
Best Villain: Denzel Washington, Training Day Breakthrough Performance Male: Orlando Bloom, The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of the Ring Breakthrough Performance Female
Best Kiss: Jason Biggs and Seann William Scott, American Pie 2
Best Action Sequence: Pearl Harbor
Best Fight: Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan, Rush Hour 2
Best Musical Sequence: Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor, Moulin Rouge
