This six disc set includes the first 3 volumes of the classic 1973 Japanese live-action TV series based on the hit movie series and manga, also known as Shogun Assassin. Lone Wolf and Cub chronicles the story of Ogami Itto, a fearsome samurai in charge of executing the enemies of the Shogun. Disgraced by false accusations and marked for death, Ogami is forced into exile. Now Ogami roams the countryside with his two remaining possessions: his samurai sword and a baby cart that contains his three year old son. Together, they are now the "Lone Wolf & Cub".
