Betty White has been one of America's most beloved radio ("Blondie") and television ("The Mary Tyler Moore Show", "The Golden Girls") personalities for nearly six decades. She displays her considerable charm and comedic flair in this classic 1950s TV series which she co-created, produced and headlined. Her work on "Life with Elizabeth" led to her first Emmy in 1952. In four hilarious episodes consisting of three vignettes each, everyday conflicts arise between Elizabeth and her very adoring, yet frustrated husband, Alvin. Elizabeth's quirky sense of humor, silly antics and crazy schemes send the two of them on a continuous rollicking ride of marital ups and downs.

Episode 1: Elizabeth tricks Alvin into buying a new car... A blown fuse in their new home throws Alvin for a loop... Alvin's boss, Mr. Fuddy, is very sensitive about his new toupee.

Episode 2: Elizabeth tries to avoid telling Alvin that their car has been stolen... Elizabeth accidentally slams Alvin in the head with the garden gate... Alvin tries to weasel out of telling Elizabeth that he has bought a vacation cabin.

Episode 3: Elizabeth becomes a "mighty tycoon" during a game of Monopoly... Elizabeth is worried about the proper seating arrangement for her upcoming dinner party... Alvin is furious when Elizabeth reveals a company secret to a girlfriend.

Episode 4: Elizabeth's first attempt at cooking a lobster dinner goes terribly wrong... Alvin discovers Elizabeth's bizarre arrangement with the milkman... Elizabeth battles seasickness on a cruise to an island paradise.
