Sarah (Tammin Sursok, ABC's Pretty Little Liars, Aquamarine) is truly content with boyfriend, Xander (Ryan Eggold, Trophy Kids, 90210). But when she senses a proposal, the prospect of marriage sends her into a panic.
Her mother was the American ideal — falling in love, getting married and having kids —before suffering a mental breakdown and abandoning her family. Though Sarah loves him, the fear of following in her mother's footsteps is overwhelming.
Now, the couple must sort through the trauma and anger holding them apart ... before her past destroys their future.
