The Man In The Attic

A young man's love for a woman becomes a life sentence. The harrowing, bizarre love affair between Edward Broder (Neil Patrick Harris) and Krista Herman (Anne Archer) begins when Edward, an 18-year old student, and Krista, a stunning married woman in her mid 30s, meet outside her husband's garment factory in 1910. The attraction is just as instantaneous as it is dangerous as her husband, Joe (Len Cariou), is a powerful businessman and she is a doting mother of a son the same age as Edward. Tensions rise that threaten to tear them apart as Joe discovers their forbidden love. In desperation, Krista hatches a plan to unite Edward and her forever: she convinces Edward to move into her attic, emerging only during the day when Joe is at work. Edward's love soon blossoms into an obsession as year after year passes in the attic. What evolves is a story that is as touching as it is haunting, and only one thing becomes certain - you won't want to turn away from the screen.
