Thunder Bay stars James Stewart in a dynamic tale of adventurous wildcatters searching for black gold in the Gulf of Mexico. Steve Martin (Stewart) and his partner (Dan Dureya) are a pair of oil trouble-shooters who attempt to strike it rich despite devastating hurricanes, dangerous love affairs and a hostile town of Cajun fishermen. Along the way, Martin encounters the alluring Stella (Joanne Dru) who fears his explorations will destroy her way of life, but cannot help the attraction she feels for the magnetic fortune seeker. Reuniting James Stewart with frequent collaborator Anthony Mann (Winchester '73, Bend of the River), this explosive adventure will leave you at the edge of your seat.
