Meet Joseph Rex (Roy Jahangard), the quintessential middle-aged sad sack. Out of shape and the butt of fat jokes lobbed by an office rival, Joseph takes an unusual route to shake his midlife slump - he sheds his lifelong pattern of playing it safe and enters an amateur boxing contest on a dare.
Knowing nothing about the sport, he enlists an equally inept training team to run him into a champ.
