Universal Gives The Green To 'Timecop 2'

Universal proved that the Internet doesn't know everything when it announced recently that they're in the midst of preparing a sequel to 1994's Timecop. The sequel, Timecop 2, will encompass the same principles of time travel and a policing organization that oversees that time travel, but will feature a new cast.

Jason Scott Lee's name has been tossed around to fill the shoes of Jean-Claude Van Damme, the original Timecop. No word was released on when the movie would film or when it would find its way to theaters.
