It's A Bird...It's A Plane...It's Brendan Fraser?

Even while a collective groan echoes through Hollywood, it appears that Warner Bros. is about to cast Brendan Fraser in the remake of Superman. Fraser, who's played the action hero in the Mummy movies, would play Clark Kent and his Superhero counterpart Superman in the McG directed movie.

The latest incarnation of Superman is headed for the big screen in the Summer of 2004. The story is being kept a secret for now.
