Brittany On Winona: 'Unfortunately I'm Straight'

Brittany Murphy has finally explained she's not a lesbian and her kiss with Winona Ryder was just a friendly one. Murphy was caught by a photographer this Spring with her lips locked in a kiss with buddy Winona Ryder in Ryder's car.

"Noni's a very dear friend of mine, and that picture was pretty fabulous, and if I were attracted to women, Noni would be right up my alley," the actress said. The two starred together in 1999's Girl, Interrupted. Brittany added, "She's such a strong cookie. Unfortunately I'm straight."

That's a good thing since they may not allow Winona conjugal visits in jail.
