Miramax looks set to rule yet another awards season with yesterday's announcement of the Golden Globe nominees. Miramax's musical Chicago led the field in nominations with eight, while its drama The Hours came in second with seven nominations. Adaptation, the quirky comedy from the writing-directing duo behind Being John Malkovich, came in third with six nominations.

The Golden Globes is one of the few awards shows that separates categories by genre. Movie nominations are lumped into either Drama or Comedy/Musical categories.
