From '70s Ditz To '90s Serial Killer

In a move that will surely confuse everyone, Lions Gate has announced that they are going ahead with plans for a sequel to American Psycho. The confusing part is that American Psycho II will be set in the present even though the original movie became known for its tongue-in-cheek depiction of '80s America.

To confound matters even more, they've signed Mila Kunis headline the project. Kunis is best known as the ditzy Jackie on "That '70s Show."

The general premise is that Kunis will play a college student who survived an attack by serial killer Patrick Bateman (the connection to the original movie) years ago. Now she's in line for a kooshy teaching assistant position and nothing will get in her way.

I still don't see sweet, innocent Jackie as a serial killer...oh well.
