Disney is so adamant about getting everything right about the upcoming epic film The Alamo, that they are employing two historians for the shoot to help out with the specifics.

Alan Huffines and Stephen Hardin, both Texas historians and Alamo buffs, act as director John Lee Hancock's right and left hands. In various scenes, they have made subtle nuance-type changes that Disney hopes will win the battle of authenticity with critics and fans.

The film follows the buildup to the stand at The Alamo and the eventual Texas response a few weeks later which immortalized the words, "Remember The Alamo."
