Ben and Jen go into holding pattern

While we reported last week that Hollywood's it couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were finally set to exchange wedding vows this coming weekend, it appears that the media is scaring them away. As details about their top secret ceremony started to leak quicker than the Titanic, the soon-to-be married couple pulled the plug.

A joint press release from Ben and Jen reads, "Due to the excessive media attention surrounding our wedding, we have decided to postpone the date. When we found ourselves seriously contemplating hiring three separate "decoy brides" at three different locations, we realized that something was awry. We began to feel that the spirit of what should have been the happiest day of our lives could be compromised. We felt what should have been a joyful and sacred day could be spoiled for us, our family and our friends."

Entertainment Tonight broke the shocking news and added that one of their sources claimed that the bride herself personally called all 400 guests, fighting back tears. No new date has been set.
