It's a boy for Momma Kate and Grandma Goldie

Kate Hudson has given birth to a healthy -- and big -- baby boy. Hubby Chris Robinson (former Black Crowes singer-songwriter) and grandmother Goldie Hawn welcomed Ryder Russell Robinson on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

"Triple R", as we like to call the little guy, weighed in at 8 pounds, 11 ounces -- pretty big for the very petite Hudson. The infant's middle name is for Kurt Russell, Goldie's longtime partner and the man who helped raise Kate.

Ryder is quite the anniversary gift for the couple. Hudson and Robinson married on New Year's Eve 2000.
