By now, everyone has seen, or at least heard about, Janet Jackson's revealing performance during the halftime show of last week's Super Bowl. Well, the ramifications are starting to take hold and, believe it or not, the stunt may have a significant effect on this year's Academy Awards show.

TV executives are calling on ABC to follow CBS' lead and add a 5 second audio and visual delay to their airing of the Oscars, just as CBS is doing with this weekend's Grammys. The 'almost live' alternative is not sitting too well with Oscars' executive producer Bruce Davis.

"We would be very concerned about a delay that would raise possibility of a network representative deciding that remarks like Michael Moore's last year would be inappropriate. We don't want that kind of censorship."

The Oscars are set to be carried on ABC on February 29th, live or otherwise. In case, you have been living in a cave the past week, singer Justin Timberlake tore off part of Janet Jackson's leather bustier, exposing her right breast at the end of the halftime show.
