When Hollywood needs to define 'It Girl' these days, most of the Prada elite say one name: Lindsay Lohan. That's pretty remarkable since the nubile, 17-year-old actress has only been in a handful of movies, but already appears to have the film industry wrapped around her finger.

Last year at this time, we were fighting over Amanda Bynes or Hilary Duff as the next heri apparent for Hollywood's Leading Lady. The correct answer is none of the above. In a few short months, Lindsay has gone from that cute kid in that Disney remake, to budding box office starlet with a record deal and rumors circulating about possible breast augmentation surgery.

Proving the old adage true, Lindsay is striking while the iron is hot with a gig as host of the MTV Movie Awards and two lucrative job offers. First, Paramount is courting the young actress to appear in Fashionistas, a tale of upheaval at a trendy fashion magazine. The role and subject matter seem tailor made for Lindsay's squeaky clean image.

The other role is a bit juicier and plays to her burgeoning male fan club. Empire magazine is reporting that she has been cast by Columbia Pictures as the genie in I Dream of Jeannie, a remake of the campy 1960s TV series.

Whatever roles pan out or fall by the wayside, one thing is certain, Lindsay Lohan is one name that we won't overlook a second time.
