Penelope Cruz Doesn't Really Get Around

According to the press, Woman On Top star Penelope Cruz dates all of her leading men. But the Spanish hotty says think again.

"They try to create a rumor with every movie, and so now it loses its impact. It doesn't affect me anymore. It doesn't affect my family anymore because they do not believe what they read," assures Ms. Cruz.

Reports of her snuggling with All The Pretty Horses co-star Matt Damon started the gossip, which she scoffed off. More seriously, her name was mentioned multiple times as a reason behind Tom Cruise's divorce, as the two co-starred in Vanilla Sky together. After pictures of Tom and Penelope walking arm in arm where published, Ms. Cruz laughed, "You thought those pictures were real?" Turns out they were merely stills from the movie.

Now, she can't believe the American press has created an affair between her and her Captain Corelli's Mandolin co-star, Nicolas Cage. She has only one thing to say about this round, "We are not together as a couple. Nicolas and I are very good friends."

She can't say she hasn't had her chances.
