Fincher to match wits with 'Zodiac'

Director David Fincher has finally found his new project. Fincher, perhaps best known for the thriller Seven, is returning to his roots to helm Zodiac, a film about the notorious San Francisco serial killer.

Zodiac will be the first project for Fincher since 2002's Panic Room. For the last year or so, David has been working on an adaptation of 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,' but that movie was recently scrapped when co-producing studios Warner Bros. and Paramount balked at the $150 million price tag.

Both studios are re-teaming for Zodiac and hope for a late Fall 2006 release.
