The blazing skull of 'Ghost Rider' revealed

Sony Pictures has revealed the first video images of Ghost Rider's flaming-skull head, the movie starring Nicolas Cage set for release in 2007. Via the official web site GhostRider-Movie.com, visitors can watch a 10 second video showing -- for the first time -- the Ghost Rider in his blazing glory.

"I'm the only one who can walk in both words. I'm Ghost Rider," Cage says as Ghost Rider's alter ego Johnny Blaze during this brief first-look. Yet another Marvel Comic adaptation, Blaze was the motorcycle stuntman who become host to a demon which turned him into the biker with a flaming skull instead of a head.

But as a comic book layperson, all the background you need to know that he rides a bitchin' bike, his skull-head is on fire, and he doesn't take crap from any bad guys. How much more cool can you get?

Ghost Rider is set for release Feb. 16, 2007. Wes Bentley, Eva Mendes, Sam Elliott, and Peter Fonda are along for the ride.
