Jessica Simpson to be a mom?

It looks like America's favorite Newly-Divorcee is contemplating motherhood now that her marriage to Nick Lachey is over. Jessica Simpson's publicist Rob Shuter has confirmed that the pop star is "exploring options."

Don't worry, Jessica's not pulling a Britney and she's not about to ruin her pristine image by having a baby out of wedlock. Jessica is thinking about taking a page out of the Angelina Jolie playbook.

"I want to adopt, and I plan to adopt before I have my own kids," Simpson told TV show Extra. "I think Angelina Jolie has done amazing, amazing things, and the international adoption rate just since her has skyrocketed. It's unbelievable."

This is coming from the same woman who three short years ago was asking her husband on national TV if Chicken of the Sea Tuna was fish or chicken. Now, that's a scary thought!
