For 'Spider-Man 3,' Cleveland is New York City

When residents of Cleveland, Ohio go to see Spider-Man 3, they may think the New York City streets look like their own. That's because they are.

A lot of the on-location shots were done in Cleveland rather than the Big Apple. As they explain in the video below, it would be next to impossible to shut down a portion of the NYC streets to shoot the extensive scenes they needed for the movie.

Can you believe the got the mayor to repave Euclid Avenue, a big street in Cleveland, just for the movie?

Spider-Man 3 is in theaters in just two and a half short weeks -- on May 4.
