Well, it's been a couple of weeks since my last installment of this new, supposedly regular feature. (If you wanna know, I was moving offices across town.) In addition to the Disney TV on DVD releases, a lot has been introduced so let's jump right into it.

Remember that you can click on any of these prominent new DVD announcements to sign up for a handy dandy email release reminder.

The Luke Wilson/Kate Beckinsale motel thriller Vacancy comes to DVD on Aug. 14. Bonus features include behind-the-scenes features, deleted scenes, extended snuff films (sounds great, doesn't it?), and an alternate opening sequence.

Coming a week after, on Aug. 21, is Perfect Stranger. Another thriller, this one stars Halle Berry, Bruce Willis, and Giovanni Ribisi. No word yet on extras for this one.

TMNT, the big screen movie based on the '80s cartoon series based on the comic book comes to DVD (and Blu-ray and HD-DVD) on Aug. 7. Extras include alternate opening and ending, director commentary, deleted scenes, and storyboards. This PG-rated movie will be the perfect showcase to your pre-teen boy's summer-ending sleepover with his friends.

Prison Break from Fox really came into its on this second season and you'll be able to own (or rent) it on DVD starting Sept. 4. Again, the bonus feature details are still not in but anticipate they'll be good.

Karma is indeed a funny thing. The second season of My Name Is Earl comes to DVD on Sept. 25. (That's my birthday and I'd love this one as a gift if you still need to get me something.) No info on bonus features yet, but if this one is anything like the first season release, it'll have some good ones.

Fans of CBS TV's Monday night will be happy to know that the first season of Two and a Half Men will finally get its day on DVD on Sept. 11. The set includes a behind-the-scenes documentary, a backstage tour with Angus T. Jones (that's the "half" man), and a reel of outtakes.
