More 'Legend' Coming?

It seems to be standard operating procedure in Hollywood to follow up a box office heavyweight with the requisite sequel. I'm sure that if James Cameron could just get the script right, Rise of the Titanic would be Greenlit faster than you can say 'boo!'

So, when I Am Legend started to head north of $200 million, it seemed that sequel talk was inevitable. ShockTillYouDrop has learned from an anonymous insider that Warner Bros. has squared away sequel rights with Richard Matheson, the author of the 1954 novel.

Given the nature of Hollywood and the current labor relations with the writers, the future is anything but certain, but perhaps there will be another Legend in the making.
