Ahead of next month's release, Warner Bros. released a new full-length trailer for Sex and the City 2. As you can see Sarah Jessica Parker and company all return, but this time the action moves out of the Big Apple and settles in to Abu Dhabi.

Of course, this is usually the point when sequels jump the shark, i.e. when they drastically change the formula that has worked so long for them. Now, I can't say that I was a huge Sex and the City fan, but I did watch the occasional episode and I was dragged to the theater to see the first one (it wasn't that bad), however, I must say that I feel this change will be the undoing of the franchise.

New York is as much a character of Sex and the City as Carrie. So, setting half the plot in a foreign country, while unique, might come back and kick them in the butt (mark my words). What do you think?

In the meantime, enjoy the trailer below.
