It goes without saying that I'll sit in a theater and watch a movie about paint drying as long as Natalie Portman is in it. Throw in one of my favorite directors in Darren Aronofsky and I'm already buying tickets.

What? There's a steamy lesbian scene between Portman and co-star Mila Kunis? I'm surprised I'm not already camping out in front of my local megaplex.

But seriously (ok, the above was pretty serious), Fox Searchlight just released their trailer for the upcoming Black Swan and I'm completely blown away. And no, not just because there's a steamy kiss in there between Portman and Kunis among other acts of debauchery, the movie looks like another great effort from the filmmaker that has been knocking them out of the park lately what with The Wrestler, The Fountain and Requiem For a Dream.

In fact, from the look and feel of the trailer, this could be the film that transforms Natalie Portman from Academy Award nominee to Academy Award winner. The film follows an again ballerina in the competitive world of ballet and her interaction with a younger, ambitious ballerina.

In many ways think of it as a high-brow version of Showgirls mixed with A Beautiful Mind set in the world of ballet. Black Swan is set for a December release, just in time for awards season.

Now where did I stash that tent? What did you think of the trailer?
