'Final Destination 2' Creeps Forward

The long-awaited sequel to Final Destination took another step forward yesterday. Apparently, the script to Final Destination 2 got the final approval and filming should begin by the end of the year.

The plot is being kept secret, but the producers did say that they were planning on keeping the elaborate death sequences that characterized the first movie. No cast has been attached yet, a release date of late next summer is planned.
