Believe it or not, it's been 75 years since the Man of Steel graced the cover of Action Comics #1. In that time, we have seen countless versions of Superman, some good and some, well, not so good.
Zack Snyder teamed up with Warner Bros. Animation to commemorate those 75 years with a two minute look at how the character has grown and evolved in that time. The result is, well, quite spectacular.
The clip hits a lot of the high points of the superhero's arc while carefully navigating the lows. What? No love for Brandon Routh or Dean Cain? Even without those two, the clip does a great job celebrating the character that is Superman.
Heck, there's even a Jimmy Olsen as Turtle Man reference in there.
But, if you're looking for your Brandon Routh and Dean Cain as Superman fix, then all you need to do is check out this little crazy video below.
Happy 75th Superman!
