Tom Hanks To Close The 'Case'

Tom Hanks is close to signing on to A Cold Case. The new Universal movie tells the true story of a New York cop who seeks justice for the murder of his close friend.

The killer was initially believed to be dead and the NYPD closed the case, but the cop, hopefully to be portrayed by Hanks, refuses to believe that the killer is dead. He launches his own investigation and reopens the case 27 years later in the hopes of bringing the killer to justice.
