Go-Go 'Goonies 2'

The long rumored sequel The Goonies took another step closer to fruition this week. Earlier this week, The Goonies II got the official green light to proceed into production.

Director Richard Donner is returning and so, apparently is the majority of the cast, even though there will be over 15 years between movies. The rumors indicate that the kids of the original Goonies will lead the adventure this time. Corey Feldman, Sean Astin, Josh Brolin and Martha Plimpton are among those scheduled to appear in the sequel.
