Disney Pays Cash For Cable

The Walt Disney Co. decided to spend serious cash this morning as it announced the purchase of Fox Family Worldwide for approximately $3 billion in cash.

The company says it will also acquire the $2.3 billion Fox Family debt along with the set of children's cable channels. The deal is set to close in three to four months.

How many suitcases does it take to carry $3 billion? Looks like the seven dwarfs are going to be busy.
