Spielberg To Direct DiCaprio

Not since Mantle and Maris has the teaming of two superstars garnered this much attention, but it's finally going to happen. The hottest young star in Hollywood is teaming with the hottest director on a movie that is sure to make a ton of money.

Steven Spielberg has agreed to direct and produce (on behalf of his company, Dreamworks) Catch Me If You Can, the true story of Frank Abagnale Jr., the youngest man ever put on the FBI's Most Wanted List. Leonardo DiCaprio has long been attached to the project to play Abagnale.

The matching of Spielberg and DiCaprio seems like a Hollywood match made in heaven as both men seem to carry a heavy bat to the box office. Catch Me If You Can is slated to begin filming in January, with a possible release before the end of next year.
