Let's see, did anything go down in the Star Wars world since last we talked in April? Nope, can't really think of anything.

Oh yeah, there was that whole Star Wars celebration thing that happened in Orlando. We tried to hold most of the news from the convention for this story, so we apologize if some of this is old news to you, but given that it is Star Wars day, there's so much stuff out there to discover.

  • Yes, the biggest news out of Celebration last month was the official release of the first poster and trailer for The Last Jedi. If, somehow, you haven't seen them, then I've taken the liberty to add the poster over to the right and the trailer down below.

If you did see it, are you really going to be upset to see it again? Once you watch it, go over here and check out my rather verbose initial thoughts on it.

  • The second biggest piece of information to come out of Celebration was the massive promotion that they were doing for Force for Change with Omaze. They have done something each of the past few years, but this year, they are giving away three really cool prizes and one grand prize that wins all three experiences.

You can check out all of the details here.

Naturally, they have been promoting with a ton of videos. Here's the original announcement video with Mark Hamill and Daisy Ridley.

Series regular and the only actor to appear in every single Star Wars film (I'm pretty sure) Warwick Davis got in on the fun and by doing so revealed a new alien that will appear in Star Wars: Han Solo.

Finally, Mark Hamill just couldn't help himself and decided to punk some fans in this delightful little video.

  • As part of the Celebration festivities, everyone paid their respects to the late, great Carrie Fisher. LucasFilm created this tear-jerking memorial. You'll laugh, you'll cry. You'll mostly cry.

  • News leaked out that Luke Skywalker will indeed be the titular Last Jedi in the next installment. What does that really mean? Well, they speculated about it here.
  • Will any Skywalkers show up in Star Wars films after Episode IX? Kathleen Kennedy was rather coy about her answer naturally. You can read about it < href="https://www.fandango.com/movie-news/exclusive-kathleen-kennedy-on-whether-the-skywalker-saga-will-continue-past-episode-ix-752161">here.
  • What's Star Wars day without Blue Milk? Here are five recipes that will help you recreate the famous concoction for your party tonight.
  • Finally today, it wouldn't be Star Wars day without a fan film. This one comes from Arya Moghaddam and is pretty fun little film to enjoy with some popcorn and blue milk.
