Kate Winslet Next In Divorce Court

Titanic star Kate Winslet and director Jim Threapleton join the long, but distinguished list of Hollywood couples signing off on marriage.

The two met in 1997 while the British actress starred in Jim's movie Hideous Kinky. They were engaged before the movie hit the video stands and married in November, 1998. Back then Kate beamed, "When you know (you are in love), you know. That's what I've been told my whole life and now I know." False alarm.

The separation is reportedly an "amicable and respectful" one, with no rumors of affairs. Both agree their top priority in the situation is their 10-month old daughter, Mia.
