Richard Gere Moves To 'Chicago'

Richard Gere is getting back to his roots. No, he's not driving fancy cars in Beverly Hills picking up prostitutes, he's preparing to join the film adaptation of M52254(Chicago.

The musical about two women accused of murder who gain notoriety through the media during the 1920s already boasts Catherine Zeta-Jones and Renee Zellweger in the lead roles. Gere is set to play their sleazy lawyer who concocts the whole idea to make celebrities out of his clients.

Gere previously worked on stage and had leads in numerous musicals before pursuing his acting career in movies.
