'Tales From The Crypt' Coming Back From The Dead

Miramax is resurrecting the 'Tales From The Crypt' line of films originally spawned from the HBO TV series. The horror flicks will undoubtedly feature the series' infamous spokesman, The Crypt Keeper.

A possible 'Tales' release could be Ritual, on the slate from Dimension (Miramax's genre films division).

No word has been made on how many films will be produced or when they will be released. They are intended for a direct-to-video release. Miramax has been successful with other genre video premieres like sequels to From Dusk Till Dawn.

Two theatrical films were released by HBO under the 'Tales From The Crypt' banner. Demon Knight was released in 1995 and Bordello Of Blood followed the next year.
