DiCaprio Really Is The King Of The World

In Titanic, Leonardo DiCaprio exclaimed that he was "the king of the world." Now, it seems that his words were prophetic.

Martin Scorsese is set to start work on his latest epic, Alexander. The story will follow the rise and fall of Alexander the Great, the ancient king of Macedonia, whose desire to conquer the world ultimately caused his downfall. That's where Leonardo comes in. He's set to play the conquering hero and reteam with his Gangs Of New York director, Scorsese.

The exact details of the story are being kept under strict security. Shooting will begin next year with a target release date set for Summer 2003.
