The Hanson Brothers Skate Again

That's right! The long, long, long-awaited sequel to the 1977 cult classic Slapshot is about to begin filming next month in Canada. Details are very sketchy at this point, but we do know that Gary Busey and Stephen Baldwin are attached to the project as stars. Also, making an appearance are the mis-Chief makers themselves, the orignal Hanson brothers. The Hansons (Dave Hanson, and brothers Jeff and Steve Carlson) have made a living off their infamous movie role for the last 25 years by making appearances at professional hockey games and selling autographed Hanson brothers merchandise. No word on the rest of the cast including player/coach Reggie Dunlap (Paul Newman) and Dave "The Killer" Carlson, but we're sure that there will be plenty of hijinks involved.
