Sam Mendes Becomes Kate's King Of The World

Only months after her separation from husband Jim Threapleton, Hideous Kinky girl Kate Winslet is the latest star on the arm of director Sam Mendes.

Stories of the affair have found their place in every gossip magazine in Britain, all full of either speculation or approval.

Sam, whose movie of the year American Beauty lifted him to instant stardom, has used his celebrity status to woo the women. His "casting couch" has held actresses Cameron Diaz and Calista Flockhart along with many others. The award-winning director has said the past, "The idea of marriage fills me with dread." But claims he is not a marriage wrecker.

Time will tell if Slippery Sam will live up to his reputation or fall for the British rose.
