Reality serious "Survivor" host Jeff Probst has more than the tribe speaking these days. Jeff was named to the "Ten Directors To Watch" list put out by the American Cinematheque recently.
The host-turned-writer-director earned recognition following his independent project, a thriller titled "Finder's Fee." The movie was screened on Tuesday and also awarded the Golden Space Needle Award for best film and best director at the Seattle International Film Festival.
His movie gets the talents of actors James Earl Jones, Robert Forster (Jackie Brown) and Erik Palladino (ER and U-571).
From the rave reviews, it appears Jeff's torch will be burning for a long time.
