Benjamin Bratt Drafted To Star In WWII Movie

Miramax is ready to go with “The Great Raid,” a drama based on a true story about the last days of World War II and one of General MacArthur’s last moves and Hollywood hunk Benjamin Bratt is the star.

Benjamin will play Army ranger Colonel Henry Mucci, who leads a General MacArthur’s mission to raid a POW camp to try and save 500 American prisoners.

The Red Planet star has kept himself busy with projects like Pinero (limited release in December, 2001) and Abandon, due for release in March, 2002.
