'Kung Pow!: Enter The Trilogy?'

This weekend, a new spoof film attempts to steal your money. But Kung Pow!: Enter The Fist isn't your average spoof movie.

First, it spoofs a brand new genre, one in desperate need of spoofing, Kung Fu movies. Second, unlike most spoof films, it actually has a plot that isn't dependent on the next series of gags. In fact, the plot is so detailed that writer/director/star Steve Oedekerk initially viewed the project in terms of a trilogy.

Whether or not Oedekerk gets to realize his dream may depend heavily on this weekend's box office receipts. Kung Pow!: Enter The Fist opens everywhere this Friday.
