'Spider-Man 2' To Begin Filming In 2003

Even though Spider-Man is still 6 months from seeing the light of day in your local megaplex, producers are already moving on the sequel. It was announced this week that principal photography on Spider-Man 2 would begin a year from, in January 2003.

Stars Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst are already on board (kind of takes away some of the suspense on the first one, eh?), but it wasn't immediately known who else from the first movie would be making an appearance in the sequel. Spider-Man 2 is set for a Summer 2004 theatrical release.
