Jennifer Garner Playing 'Catch' With The Big Boys

I certainly hope that Jennifer Garner has added J.J. Abrams to her permanent Christmas card list. Abrams, the creator of "Felicity" and the ultra-hot "Alias," built his new TV hit around the petit, but powerful actress and now they're both reaping the benefits.

For Garner, the biggest benefit has been a free pass to Hollywood's elite "A" list of actors and actresses. After recently securing the female lead in the highly anticipated Daredevil, opposite Ben Affleck, she's at it again, winning a small, but critical role in perhaps the biggest movie of the year, Catch Me If You Can.

The biggest Catch is the talent that this movie will deliver. Steven Spielberg is directing Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks in the lead roles. Joining Garner in "smaller" roles are Christopher Walken and Martin Sheen.

Catch Me If You Can is currently filming and should be released before the end of the year for Academy Award consideration.
