When his dear friend David Susskind asked Henny Youngman for an on-air interview, Youngman replied "Well, I don't know. That's the night my wife and I go out to dinner. We go to separate restaurants so, sure, why not?She'll never know." And that's why he is called the King of One-Liners.
In the interview, we learn the origin of Youngman's trademark joke "Take my wife, please" and are treated to other trademark routines, including playing violin badly, which he does, for no other reason than to watch Susskind cringe.
