Charlie Taylor just spent a year in life for a crime he didn't commit. Upon his unexpected early release from jail, he returns to his long time girlfriend Randi Davis. Much to his surprise, Randi has asked her ex-boyfriend and newly appointed District Attorney to get Charlie a job. Reluctantly, Charlie takes the job. He soon learns that his "job" consists of staging a kidnapping. Charlie is being set up for yet another crime that he didn't commit and if he doesn't act quickly, he'll end up back in prison.
