Spies Like Us / Nothing But Trouble

What pencil pushers Emmett (Chevy Chase) and Austin (Dan Aykroyd) don't know about spying they make up for in laughs in Spies like Us (Side A). The two desk jockeys fake their way into becoming spies with limitless limitations in this funfest that plays like a Bob Hope-Bing Crosby Road movie. John Landis (Trading Places) directs. The comedy cohorts team again in a movie that asks: What do Chevy Chase and Demi Moore get when a wrong turn lands them in a strange New Jersey burg? They get Nothing but Trouble (Side B), with Aykroyd as a cranky 106-year-old Justice of the Peace and John Candy playing a dutiful lawman. With direction by Aykroyd, appearances by members of hip-hop's Digital Underground, plus two more Aykroyd and Candy roles, this binge of giggles and guffaws is anything but predictable!
