Star Wars Episode II Coming To A Really BIG Screen Near You

Star Wars fans have already analyzed George Lucas' latest installment, Attack Of The Clones, in much detail. For those wanting an even closer view of the film, their wish is coming true.

Fox and Lucasfilm have confirmed that the film will be shown in IMAX theaters in 15 countries. IMAX theaters feature a screen up to eight stories high. The release could be as early as the end of this month in some countries. Estimates have the U.S. release around the Labor Day weekend in September.

There has also been considerable speculation that this would be an extended version of Clones with scenes not included in the original theatrical release. Fox did not mention this tidbit but did say the IMAX release would be "worth the wait."
