Break out the funny hats. Hollywood legend Marlon Brando is rumored to be up for the role of Pope John XXIII, "The Good Pope," in a movie portraying the life of the man credited as modernizing Roman Catholicism.

This role seems to be on the complete opposite end of the spectrum from his role as Don Vito Corleone, the ruthless patriarch of an organized crime family in The Godfather. Has the aging Brando turned a new leaf? Perhaps the part interests him so much because he'd be able to hide his body behind the flowing robes...
