Are Spirits Looming On The Set Of Episode II?

One of the most widely debated cameos in Episode II is a rumored return of Liam Neeson in his role of Qui-Gon Jinn from The Phantom Menace. If you remember correctly, Qui-Gon was cut down in battle with Darth Maul during the climatic lightsaber battle in The Phantom Menace, so that would rule out any potential return, right?

Well, this is Star Wars, don't forget and anything is possible. The most common rumor is that Qui-Gon will appear to Obi-Wan during the rest of the prequels as an apparition in much the same way that Obi-Wan appeared to Luke in Empire and Jedi.

So is this going to happen? Well, it seems the jury is still out on this one, but there are hints that it might. A few Bothan spies have reported seeing Liam Neeson in and around Ealing Studios this week. Ealing just happens to the place where they are shooting the pick up shots and additional footage for Episode II.
